The lake at your feet

For almost a century, the Seewirt has been a retreat, a summer getaway and the locals’ favourite lake spot. Arriving here means diving into a summer of days gone by – a summer that tastes like vanilla, sunshine and freedom. A house brimming with history – and stories. As close to the water as it gets. This is the place where the “Sea of the Viennese” becomes a coastal haven for all.

Our rooms

A bed for listening to the breeze. A shower for the sand on your feet. A mirror for admiring your sunkissed face. A TV for knowing there is no better place to be right now. A window for watching the wild colours of the sun. Doors to the kids’ room and out onto adventure. Rooms that make you never want to leave. If only the lake weren’t calling.

Eine Reihe hoher, belaubter Bäume steht vor einem Gebäude mit rotem Dach und weißen Wänden unter einem klaren blauen Himmel.

Strandhaus Attila

Where the poplars are
palm trees in disguise

Close your eyes. Do you hear the wind whispering in the poplars? The waves lapping against the shore? The distant laughter of children playing on the beach. This is the soundtrack of a holiday at the Strandhaus Attila. The soundtrack of a summer like it used to be.

Restaurant

No coffee to go; instead a coffee to stay. No five-star -dining; instead cuisine under a thousand stars. No matcha-green tea-cardamom; instead classic chocolate-vanilla-strawberry. Excellent food without frills but served with a large portion of sunset on the side.

Water

All the “sea”
you need.

Bathing suits on, worries gone – this is how we spend summer by the reed-free shores of the lake. A summer for splishing and splashing, paddling and dabbling. A summer like it used to be.

National park

“Into the wild”

Nature so uniquely beautiful that it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. At the Neusiedlersee National Park, saline ponds, steppes, meadows, arable land and vineyards make our little corner of the earth a paradise of exceptional value.

Water sports

Racing against
the wind

Life here isn’t just lived by the lake – its a life lived on the lake too. With wind in your sails, water under your feet and unending nature all around. Lake Neusiedl is a hotspot for kite- and windsurfers, sailors and stand-up paddle boarders alike.

Cycling

Once around
the lake

Leaving the Seewirt is never easy, but it’s made much easier with the cycle path just passing right by. A path that leads you all around the lake and straight back to us. Back to the Seewirt where you can clink glasses and unwind after a fun-filled day.

Wellness

Relaxation starts
from the inside

Nestle inside when you need a little break. Enjoy peace and serenity at our indoor pool while gazing out over a stormy lake. Our sauna and steam room will warm you on chilly days.

Podo-Play

The
play-more-ground

A summer like it used to be with a playground of the future. Covering 18,000 m², the PODOplay area right by the beach offers everything young adventurers could desire: a motor skills park, climbing wall, water world – and tonnes of space in which to run, climb, splish and splash. Unique for children – and uniquely affordable for parents: entrance is naturally included for our hotel guests.

Shopping

Flip-flops
meet high heels

From the glittering lake, it’s just a short drive to the bling – bling windows of the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet in Parndorf. A paradise for bargain hunters, fashion fans and little treats. And the lake? It’s patient. It will wait. And it will never go out of style.
